Gruffydd delivering the adjudication for the crown competition (E52/03-04), the crowning ceremony (E52/05-8) and the audience during the ceremony (E52/09-11), L. Myfanwy Mayers of South Africa, alone and with a friend (E52/12-13), Cynan with a group of visitors (E52/14), Lady Megan Lloyd-George during the opening of the arts and crafts exhibition and listening to Sir Harold Idris Bell at the opening (E52/15-18), participants from Cardigan (E52/19), Aberystwyth (E52/20-21), Skewen (E52/24-27) and Carmarthen (E52/28), members of the Orsedd, including Crwys and Trefin (E52/22), competitors Gerallt Lloyd Owen and Rebecca Edwards (E52/23), O. M. Lloyd, Gwilym R. Tilsley, J. O. Jones, Huw Llew Williams, R. E. Jones, Trebor E. Roberts, R. Ithel Williams and Iorwerth Lloyd partaking in Ymryson y Beirdd (E52/29), the winning bard, John Evans, on stage with Dyfnallt (E52/30) and with Erfyl Fychan and Trefin (E52/31-32) and Catrin Puw Morgan of Corwen being accepted into the Orsedd (E52/33).

Computer file. Aberystwyth : National Library of Wales, 2000-2002 (Geoff Charles digitisation project) Original, master file captured in uncompressed TIFF format. Minimal tonal adjustments using levels and curves in PhotoShop. Master files archived as pc format TIFFS. On-screen display files resized and adjusted for viewing on gamma 2.2 monitors in PhotoShop and saved in JPEG format. 33 image files; Heidelberg Nexscan F4100 capture device using Linocolor v6.0.4 software. Filter settings: light contour-0.5, dark countour-0.5, smoothnes-0.6, countour width-1.0, scan spot size-4.0. Target resolution for hi-res capture was 300dpi at a factor of 450% resulting in +/- 6000 x 5000 pixels; screen res:+/- 600 x 500 pixels at 72dpi; screen-res and thumbnail copies use jpeg compression at setting: 7 in Adobe Photoshop v6.0; 8 bit grayscale; hi-res TIFFs: Gray Gamma 1.8 icc profile embedded.
