Abstract: Images of the St David's Day Pageant of Wales in the Albert Hall in London, organised by the London Welsh Association, showing quarrymen from Merionethshire, South Wales miners, coracles on the Thames, harpists and women dressed in traditional costume with Beefeaters at the Tower of London, servicemen and women in traditional costume outside Buckingham Palace, steelworkers, cocklewomen, foresters, farmers, shepherds and choirs. Together with images of the pageant and participants at the Albert Hall, including Wynford Vaughan-Thomas and Huw Wheldon broadcasting from the pageant and pageant officials.

Filter settings: light contour-0.5, dark countour-0.5, smoothnes-0.6, countour width-1.0, scan spot size-4.0. Target resolution for hi-res capture was 300dpi at a factor of 450% resulting in +/- 6000 x 5000 pixels; screen res:+/- 600 x 500 pixels at 72dpi; screen-res and thumbnail copies use jpeg compression at setting: 7 in Adobe Photoshop v6.0; 8 bit grayscale; hi-res TIFFs: Gray Gamma 1.8 icc profile embedded.
