Title assigned by cataloguer., A selection of the images have been published and appeared in Oswestry & Border Counties Advertiser, 19 November 1952., Service of rememberance held at Maesbury on Sunday 16th November by Maesbury British Legion and Oswestry Women's Section of the Legion. The march from Maesbury village to the war memorial was marshalled by Mr O Kendrick and headed by the Ifton Silver Band (Band master Mr T Gordon). The service was conducted by the Rev R T C Lumley, Oswestry. The standard bearers were Mr J Mansel and Mrs H G Price, Oswestry, and wreaths were laid on the memorial by Mr J Pritchard for the local British legion, and Miss M Pugh, Oswestry for the Womens; Section.
