Abstract: Images from September 1940 include Mr Stanley Morris of Messrs Morris Marshall and Poole selling the cup winning ewes entered by Mr Ben Alderson (who is on the rostrum with the auctioneer), they made 81 shillings (gcc09186, gcc09187, gcc09188, gcc09189, gcc09190, gcc09191, gcc09192, gcc09203, gcc09204, gcc09205, gcc09206, gcc09207, gcc09208). Images from September 1941, include a sheep judge dressed in a bowler hat and a smock (gcc09274), and finalists in the Yearling Ram Class - 1st: Tom Williams, Y Gaer; 2nd: Ben Alderson, Glanmiheli, Kerry, Newtown, 3rd: Mr Maurice Jones, Court Calmore, with the judges, Mr C. S. Williams and Mr D. T. Evans, in white coats and George L. Morgan (of Morris Marshall and Poole) holding the award cards (gcc09266, gcc09277).
