Print is dedicated to Richard Stedman Esq and bears notes on the history of the abbey., Embedded text : Stratflour in British Mynachlog Ystrad Fflur, in Latin Strata Florida. Here Resus Prince of south Wales in the year 1164 built a Cistercian Abby of the Order of S. Benedict, which was burnt in the Welsh Wars by King Edward 1st, and by him rebuilt about A. D. 1238. Many of the Welch prinices were buried here, this being in their times a venerable structure & where their succession and acts from A. D. 1156 to 1270 were kept and recorded. An. Val. £115 7s 3d Dug £122 6s 8d speed. Soon after the dissolution it became the possession of John Stedman esq in which family it has continued to Richard Stedman esq, the present worthy proprietor.

In some cases this was increased to avoid moircaron effect; Screen-res copies use JPG commpression at approx 35%; 24bit color; Hi-res TIFFs in AppleRGB, Screen-res in sRGB; Apple Colorsync. No control targets.
